USHER 1F COLLABORATIVE INC Information

Usher 1F Collaborative is the only organization solely dedicated to funding research for Usher syndrome type 1F, among the most severe forms of Usher syndrome, which is the leading cause of inherited deaf-blindness. With the Collaborative in place since 2013, more than $15 million has been invested to advance promising therapies that aim to preserve and restore vision for individuals born with Usher 1F. By bringing together scientists, clinicians, families, and donors, we are accelerating the path toward human clinical trials and, ultimately, a cure.
