Urvashi's Retreat Information

Urvashi's Retreat Comprising of three cottages that sum up to a total of eight rooms, a living room, a dining room, an in-house kitchen and service units in unison, Urvashi's Retreat is a boutique home-stay. Classified by WelcomHeritage as one of its Nature Resorts, it is a personally-run enterprise by Urvashi Singh and her multi-functional crew. Set in a style that is partially quaint and slightly edgy, the Retreat is a luxury-centric, personally crafted attempt at synthesising nature and premium hospitality. A new-addition to the world of hotels and hospitality, Urvashi's Retreat is being constructed in two phases. The first phase spanned from the spring of 2014 to the summer of 2015, completing the units mentioned in the previous paragraph. The second phase is scheduled between the summers of 2015 and 2016, where the team is aiming to add eight more rooms, a bar, spa facilities and an arthouse café. Ever since the initiation of the Retreat, it has been a conscious effort on our part to source locally. It is interesting to note that all the stone used in the exteriors of our cottage have been sourced from the very bouldery upon which we stand. The wooden-panelling has been done using genuine, local wood, crafted by a team of Himachali carpenters themselves.
