UpSurgeOn is a MedTech company that focuses on psychomotor skill improvements through life-like simulations, AR/VR, AI and performance data collection. UpSurgeOn was founded in 2017 by two neurosurgeons, Federico Nicolosi, MD, (Founder and CEO) and Giannantonio Spena, MD, (Co-founder) and is headquartered in Milan, Italy, with a second branch in the US. The company is at the forefront of creating sophisticated simulation technologies that are set to initiate a revolution: moving away from learning directly on patients and adopting an approach similar to flight simulators. This involves crafting AI-based coaches and true-to-life surgical scenarios, all aimed at enhancing surgeons' psychomotor skills.
