Upstate Water Group was formed when Van Amburgh Sales based in Albany, NY and Welch Associates based in Buffalo, NY joined forces to create a full-service statewide agency. Each Agency has been serving their respective markets for over 40 years; although the name Upstate Water Group is new, it has for all intents and purposes been in operation many decades. With warehouses on opposite ends of I-90 in NY, two customer service offices, and a management team with tremendous experience in sales, supply chain, and wholesale UWG brings more skills and capabilities focused in our markets than nearly any other agency. Additionally we routinely call on Engineers, Architects, contractors and wholesalers. We are neither a Spec Line rep nor a shelf line rep. We are much more than that. Be it a powerpoint lunch and learn to hands-on installation training our team does whatever it takes to service the customer. Because no matter who made the purchase or who installed it we will stand behind our manufacturer's products. Our philosophy is simple, we don't dodge responsibility - we provide solutions. Call us fixers if you will, but we want our products to work, perform well and be as hassle free as possible to the end user. So to that end, we only represent manufacturers with those same values and for that matter we only partner with wholesalers who also care about the end result. We believe it is the little details, that when added up, make the difference.
