Upperline Code Information

At Upperline Code, we partner with with businesses, non-profits, and schools to introduce the next generation of diverse talent to careers in tech. Our programs advance our partners' educational, philanthropic, and DEI initiatives with training, courses, and curricula tailored to the specific needs of each organization. We create profoundly impactful coding experiences for our students by training teachers to build excellent learning environments. We lead fun, rigorous, and collaborative programming courses for high school students, professional development for new and aspiring computer science teachers, and specialty programs for industry partners and non-profits. In every one of our classes, participants build real apps, engage with coding best-practices, and become a part of a supportive and inclusive community of learners. Our mission at Upperline Code is to train the next generation of computer science leaders and empower students to change their world with code. We aim to transform education by making computer science accessible to all students regardless of race, gender, or income. Above all, we value inclusiveness, curiosity, rigor, collaboration, and quality. Upperline Code is a member of the CSforAll Consortium, the national network of CS education providers, funders, and researchers working to support the mission of expanding access to CS education for all K-12 students.
