On UpperHand EDGE the young entrepreneur has evolved from that suburban lemonade stand. They are learning about Philanthropy and how to allocate their money. They are guided on how to build teams of other like minded entrepreneurs to solve a problem and to build products that have a strong impact on our world. Young entrepreneurs on UE are teaching peers skills that begin in the home and can expand into the office. We believe If a child can learn it, a child can teach it, and they can find it all on UpperHand Edge. Building a business from just a tangible product can be hard. You never know if someone is going to really need your product or when the next best thing will cancel it out. But when your business foundation is built from the skills that are in yourself that you have mastered or refined, it can never be replaced. Our goal at UpperHand is to help children find their unique skills and talents and to show them how to share those skills with people all over the world - never having to let go of their childhood passions and dreams, but transforming them into real actions. We take stigmas and social biases out of the way for these young preneurs by creating a highly secure, diverse and inclusive online marketplace where they can gain the UpperHand and competitive EDGE in the startup arena. We enable, nurture and engage young leaders and risk takers who can challenge the Status Quo, who can find, improve and fix things in this world. We recognize that the children of today are the shapers of the new kind of future and we are doing our part, to build, engage a generation of makers and givers - not just users and takers.
