UPP turns underused brassica biomass into allergen-free, drop-in protein and fibre ingredients that cost food manufacturers less than what they replace. Crucially, we deliver order-of-magnitude lower carbon (<0.25 kg CO₂e/kg LCA) and improved nutrition profiles while reducing cost. No new diets. No consumer re-education. No novel-foods regulatory tail. Our ingredients drop into existing recipes at 4–30% inclusion, improving COGS, nutrition density and Scope 3 in a single move. The economics are structural, not novel. By unlocking a new source of feedstock through our patented Harvesta automated harvester and margin-share grower agreements, our raw material inputs sit at ~20% of gross margin against an industry paying 50–80% of revenue. This advantage compounds with scale. We're capital-lite by design, scaling through modular <£2m / 10,000 tpa units rather than monolithic megaprojects. We got to BRCGS Grade A, ISO 9001, 1,000 tpa capacity and first commercial sales on £3.5m of equity, demonstrating that capital discipline and efficiency have always been at our core. Foodservice shipments live. 8 Tier 1 manufacturers in or through SAQ. Supermarket SKUs expected in 2026. We're not new meat. We're not a consumer brand. We're capital-lite food infrastructure for the next era of food, designed for a world where the green premium is over and Scope 3 has moved from aspiration to audit.
