UpHeld builds digital tools for Christian congregations, designed with the opposite commitments of social media. Where social media maximizes engagement through frictionless interaction, broadcast audiences, and algorithmic amplification, UpHeld embeds bounded communities, deliberate friction, and prayer rhythms instead of engagement metrics. The medium shapes the community. We're trying to bend this one toward depth and embodied relationships. Our first product is a platform for sustained prayer and mutual dependence — helping church communities extend their care for one another throughout the week.
