At UpDroid, we are introducing our first product, the UP1 your personal robot avatar. Use it to travel around the house, lookup for things and run missions all from your laptop or phone. UP1 is also a programmable robot that can be used to develop advanced behaviors. As the most affordable and easy way to build robots, UpDroid is providing consumers, developers, and professionals access to advanced robotics like never before. Our vision, at UpDroid is to jump-start and be an integral part of the personal robotics industry. We believe that personal robots in the future will be used to amplify our physical capability in day to day activities. This is analogous to what personal computers have done for computation, information access, and connectivity. We will provide users with a powerful platform to build, share, and consume an ecosystem of applications, both entertaining and functional.
