The UnTours Foundation is a public charity and 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides flexible, catalytic capital to small businesses building a more just, inclusive, and regenerative economy. Since 1992, we've invested more than $11.5 million into over 400 social enterprises across the U.S. and globally that are creating meaningful jobs, restoring ecosystems, and expanding economic opportunity. Our model is unique: we're powered by the profits of UnTours, the world's first Certified B Corporation, together with the generosity of individual donors and grant partners. We commit 100% of our endowment to mission-aligned investing, meaning every dollar we steward (not just the small percentage most foundations grant each year), supports businesses advancing social and environmental good. And because most of our investments are structured as loans, capital gets repaid and redeployed, funding new entrepreneurs again and again rather than being spent once. Today, we invest through two funds: Our Shifting the Paradigm Fund supports social enterprises in sustainable food and agriculture, circular economy, fair trade, ethical fashion, and inclusive employment, while our Reset Tourism Fund provides catalytic growth capital to locally-rooted tourism businesses advancing sustainability, accessibility, and community ownership across the global travel industry. We believe capital can be more than a tool for profit. It can be a force for justice, resilience, and repair. For over three decades, we've bet on entrepreneurs who refuse to accept the status quo and we're proud to keep building that future alongside them.
