Unlock Audio is a premium game audio partner built for how games are made today. We work with developers and publishers across AAA, AA, and indie to deliver music, sound design, audio direction, voice, and implementation through our new studio-based model. Instead of a traditional outsourcing roster, Unlock is organized into six style-focused studios, each dedicated to a distinct creative identity. From Dark & Creepy to Cute & Friendly, every studio is staffed by elite, named talent in game audio: Composers, Sound Designers, Implementors, Audio Directors and niche experts who are widely recognized as leaders in their genre and genuinely passionate about the work they do. This structure gives developers the creative consistency of an in-house audio department, with the flexibility and reduced risk of an external partner. Projects are matched with artists who truly understand the tone, pacing, and emotional DNA of the game, leading to stronger alignment, fewer revisions, and audio that players notice. Our studio members have contributed to some of the industry’s most celebrated titles, including God of War Ragnarök, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon Forbidden West, Mass Effect, Dead Space, Just Cause, Borderlands, Trackmania, Tchia, and many more.
