Founded in 2009, CEF provides person-centered support, financial education, and asset building tools to individuals experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. Our approach combines person-centered support with financial services that pursue equity in order to reduce the racial wealth gap. CEF Members receive sustained one-on-one support from volunteer Advocates, trained in racial equity and trauma-informed care, to help achieve their chosen goals. Working with Advocates, Members secure housing, gain employment, and build savings in order to increase assets and sustain transitions out of poverty. CEF creates a community of support that empowers Members, offers experiential learning opportunities for Advocates to grow and learn, and advocacy and collaboration to address the systemic causes of homelessness and poverty. CEF’s work is grounded in recognition of the detrimental impacts of systemic racism on Black and Brown members of our communities. We leverage the combined resources of passion for sustaining transitions out of homelessness, dedicated volunteers, partners with shared values, and cross-spectrum collaborations to offer holistic support to each Member.

Founded in 2007, Collective Impact is a unique non-profit organization whose mission is to bring constructive change to people. We recognize that all people are connected, and believe that, if we work together, we can develop inventive solutions to the issues facing our community. Collective Impact serves as an incubator for innovative programs. We aim to nurture innovative solutions to society’s most pressing issues. We provide resources and support to organizations so they can focus on developing their programs. Together we can make an impact. The programs in our organization – Ella Hill Hutch Community Center, Magic Zone, Mo’MAGIC – may focus on different work, but they share a common goal: to create a positive impact on our local communities and the people they support. We partner with other organizations, agencies, and programs who share our vision. We understand that through education, people and communities can become empowered to transform their lives and situations. We provide the support and resources to help people of all ages become self-reliant, whether they are at-risk youth living in public housing or families who need information about nourishing food, and how they can live a healthier life. At Collective Impact, we recognize that the future of our children and our communities are at risk. We are taking action today that will help us realize positive changes tomorrow.

# ChangeMakersHub ChangeMakersHub is a South African non-profit organisation that accelerates sustainable development by mobilising citizens through awareness, know-how and community engagement to create measurable environmental, social and economic impact. We believe that lasting change happens when people are empowered to move beyond awareness and become active participants in solving the challenges affecting their communities. Through collaborative partnerships with schools, communities, businesses, government and civil society, we design and implement practical, scalable solutions that inspire collective action and unlock local potential. Our work focuses on building resilient communities, strengthening environmental stewardship, advancing circular economy participation, creating opportunities for skills development and livelihoods, and supporting progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our flagship programme, EcoChangeMakers, transforms schools into community sustainability hubs that mobilise learners, households and local partners to intercept plastic waste at source while building environmental literacy, climate resilience, green skills and behaviour change. Through the Grabouw 2030 Mission, we are developing a scalable municipal blueprint that demonstrates how schools, communities, business and local government can work together to create measurable environmental, social and economic transformation. We therefore focus on creating meaningful partnerships that connect people, resources, expertise and opportunities to accelerate impact where it is needed most.
