University of Montana Foundation Information

The University of Montana Foundation’s mission is to inspire philanthropic support to enhance excellence and opportunity at the University of Montana. Over seven years — from July 2013 through August 2020 — donors united to raise $450.9 million to elevate every UM student, college, school and program. Contributions from more than 34,000 donors made Campaign Montana the most ambitious and successful higher education campaign in state history. The Foundation is a separately incorporated 501(c)(3) organization that is governed by a Board of Trustees. The Foundation operates under an agreement with UM that is reviewed and approved by the Montana University System Board of Regents.
