University of Edinburgh Latin American Forum Information

The aim of the annual University of Edinburgh Latin American Forum is to raise topical issues Latin America is faced with, in its growing presence in the world arena. This is achieved by inviting a series of top-tier speakers, each utilizing their unique perspective to shed light on the topic at hand. ​ This year’s Forum aims to explore Latin America’s relationship with Europe, by discussing the business, political and social links through guest lectures from world-class speakers and round table talks. ​ We primarily aim to promote Latin America as a growing global player and as a land of opportunities for Europeans. Our secondary objective is to encourage Latin America as a potential area of research for students by introducing topical issues and initiating dialogue.
