The University Henri Poincaré, Nancy I (UHP), created in 1970, is a pluridisciplinary university in Sciences, Technology and Health. It offers more than 200 diplomas in such diversified areas as Communication, Material Sciences, Geosciences, Biology and Environment, Medicine… Situated in Nancy, 2 500 teachers and administrative persons work in UHP as well as 18 000 students, from which more than 10% came from 98 countries. The UHP includes 5 faculties: Sciences; Medicine; Pharmacy; Dental Surgery and Sport; it includes also 3 schools of Engineers and 3 Technical Institutes (IUT). It has a strong implication in European research programmes, in 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th PCRDT, as well as Interreg, Tempus, Erasmus… actions.
