Universal J&Z Machine LLC., is a family owned and operated manufacturing business with a local area customer base, and is located in Willoughby, Ohio. The company is dedicated to manufacturing high quality machined products that meet the demands and requirements of our customers. Since its founding in 1994 UJZM has dedicated itself to producing the highest quality machined products and is continuing to strive to improve its commitment to its customer base by conforming to the standards set forth in the ISO 9001 along with the continuing implementation of a shop floor ERP system to allow for real time data tracking on the shop floor. Founded by Joseph Grman in 1994, in Cleveland, Ohio, UJZM has grown dramatically. UJZM started with 5 CNC Lathes as a general machine shop serving local area companies. The company was certified to ISO 9001 in 2001. In 2002 Joe's wife Marina joined him in operating the growing business. In 2008 the business was growing and UJZM purchased more machines and expanded the facility to occupy two buildings at the location in Cleveland. In 2015 UJZM business growth required more machines and larger facilities. They moved to a new facility located in Willoughby, Ohio and added more employees and management, while continuing adherence to the quality management principles of ISO 9001.
