Unity health believes that a fundamental piece for sustainable health is self empowerment, and self empowerment is achieved through education. This is why Edward is passionate about getting out into the community to speak about topics that are pertaining to our current health issues. As coordinator of the Friday Forum program at James Bay New Horizons, I would like to give Mr. McCloskey my unreserved recommendation for him as a speaker in his field, Chinese Medicine in Pain Management. Mr. McCloskey approached our society, asking to make a presentation to our membership. We invited him to take a Friday Forum, our weekly information seminar for members. His offering at the forum was thoughtful, succinct and informative for our group. After an illuminating overview of his background and experience, Mr. McCloskey discussed the particulars of Chinese medicine and the relief of arthritis pain for sufferers. Clear illustrations provided on a projection screen, from his computer, were provided as information was passed along. There were many questions from our people during the presentation and in the question period which followed. They were competently answered. Folks were well-satisfied with the information given. Our people were very happy with the session. I would not hesitate to have Edward McCloskey again as a presenter, and would highly recommend him to other groups.”
