Founded in 1901, TSS is an Anglican day and boarding school on the Gold Coast for boys from Prep Year to Year 12 with boarding available from Year 7. TSS provides a balanced and holistic approach to boys' education, with integrated programs of academic and co-curricular with a low student-to-staff ratio.

Today Brisbane Grammar School opens its doors to 2000 boys from Years 5 to 12, with 100 boarders calling the School home. Set on a heritage listed site, BGS was founded in 1868, making it one of the oldest schools in Australia. Underpinned by values of endeavour, learning, respect, leadership and community, the BGS purpose is to educate boys by nurturing their intellectual, physical, and emotional wellbeing to become thoughtful, confident men of character who contribute to their communities. A BGS education is one where boys have opportunities to develop critical intelligence, imaginative and creative powers, effective communication, and the capacity and enthusiasm for independent, lifelong learning.

Brisbane Boys' College (BBC) is a non-selective independent school for boys from Prep to Year 12, with boarding available from Year 7. Our purpose is to produce men who have the confidence and capability to change the world. At Brisbane Boys’ College, we integrate best practice teaching and learning with the science of wellbeing, and in doing so, safeguard the most important ingredient to a boy’s success: confidence. It is a new way of thinking about the way we teach and learn, and at BBC, we refer to this as A New School of Thought. BBC provides a stimulating and rewarding environment, where an enthusiasm for education is valued. Academic staff enjoy a collegiality and a level of professionalism which attracts educators from across Australia and around the world. Staff are encouraged to be innovative, inspiring, nurturing and motivated to continue their professional learning through a generous Professional Development program that includes Harvard Teacher Scholarships and an Innovation Fund that provides seed capital for creative and/or innovative projects wishing to be undertaken by any member of staff. Academic staff also have access to an innovative Partnership Coaching model, which, in addition to regular Learning Hubs, provides teachers with collaborative opportunities to share their knowledge, ideas and best practice to continually improve their skills and impact as educators.
