United States Technical Education Center Information

The United States Technical Education Center (USTEC) is a California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our mission is to increase and diversify the STEM pipeline by providing rapid workforce-based training and employment assistance to underserved communities. We run two main programs: At-Risk Youth Workforce Development Training and Veterans Rapid Workforce Development Training. Our program is structured around a two-pronged approach: teaching the basic computer-aided design (CAD), computer-aided machining (CAM) and business communication skills that will make our students competitive candidates, and leveraging our relationships with high-tech employers in the Bay Area to help our graduates secure employment/internships.
