UNITED NEW YORK AMBULANCE NETWORK INC Information

The United New York Ambulance Network (UNYAN) is a not-for-profit membership corporation formally established in early 1998 to advance the highest standards of training and care in the medical and emergency medical transportation industry. Comprised of small and large commercial ambulance providers and growing rapidly, UNYAN began meeting in 1996 to discuss issues impacting the ambulance industry across New York State. UNYAN has since forged a common resolve to lead the industry toward providing reliable, cost effective approaches to high quality medical and emergency transportation services. As the often forgotten component in the continuum of health care services in New York State, medical and emergency transportation services are becoming more and more critical at a time when health care is moving out of the institutional setting and into communities and patients' homes.
