Founded in 2000 as a limited liability company, United Gulf Cement Company was registered within the Qatari Commercial Register under No. 22923. In addition, it has obtained the Ministerial Decrees No. 650/1999 and 814/2001 for the purpose of establishing a plant that performs White and Petroleum Clinker crushing. The company was also registered at the Industrial Register under No. 394/2002 and 395/2002. Further to its industrial activities, the company also undertakes other activities such as building maintenance, trading in building materials, air, sea and land transport, as well as import and export. The company aims at playing an effectively participating role in the development of the State of Qatar through the expansion of industrial activities by forming strategic partnerships in local and global markets. The manufacturing plant is built on a 40,000 square meter property, and is located 2 km. away from Messaieed Industrial and Commercial Sea-Port.
