United Group - Attorneys-at-law, Legal Advisors, and Human Rights Advocates Information

The United Group is an Egyptian law firm providing legal, financial, economic, and strategic consultation services for institutions and legal practitioners. UG also provides numerous services, including legal support and representation, monitoring and documentation of information related to civil society organizations, journalists and citizens at large with respect to cases of human rights violations (especially freedom of the press and of expression), public funds abuse, and any mal-application within the Egyptian legal framework (including, but not limited to, the Law of Associations). United Group, as legal House of Expertise, also drafts alternative laws in certain fields such as political participation, freedom of information, law of civil society associations, and other laws towards improving the legislative structure in Egypt and allowing more rights and freedoms for a wide sector of society. UG also conducted tens of trainings for lawyers, journalists, representatives of civil society associations, members of local councils and Parliamentarians on a number of issues in conformity with United Group's history of human rights and freedoms advocacy, in addition to teaching trainees who don't have legal backgrounds how to deal with the various laws and legislations cautiously.
