Matas er en landsdækkende detailhandelsvirksomhed, der tilbyder et bredt sortiment inden for sundhed og skønhed.
Matas tæller 265 butikker fordelt over hele Danmark og en webshop med mere end 1 mio. besøgende om ugen.
I alt er der ansat omkring 2.500 medarbejdere i Matas’ butikker, lageret, webshoppen og på hovedkontoret i Allerød.
Matas omsætter årligt for ca. 4,5 mia. kroner (2022/23), hvoraf 27 % i dag er online og stort set resten kommer fra en af de 265 Matas-butikker fordelt over hele landet.
Club Matas er en af Danmarks største kundeklubber med 1,9 mio. medlemmer. Klubben tilbyder medlemmerne blandt andet optjening af point, særligt gode tilbud, målrettet information og deltagelse i lokale arrangementer.
Matas blev grundlagt i 1949 som en frivillig kæde. Størstedelen af butikkerne overgik i 2007 til en kapitalkæde.
I juni 2013 blev flertallet af butikkerne samlet i et børsnoteret selskab, og i dag er samtlige Matas butikker med i børsselskabet.
