Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan Information

The Union of Campus Journalists, University of Ibadan, is a student-led body of pen-pushers and student journalists on campus. Established in 1987 with the purpose of championing campus journalism to its peak, we have held to the standards of delivering campus and mainstream journalistic duties excellently. UCJUI is the umbrella platform and chief media entity of press organizations registered with the Student Union in the University of Ibadan, and the University College Hospital, Ibadan. We presently boast of an affiliation of over 30+ independent press clubs with a membership strength of over 3000 members. As a body registered under the National Union of Campus Journalists, we advocate for the interest of every campus journalist in Nigeria. Since inception till now, UCJUI has produced prominent and celebrated individuals who have made giant strides in the media industry, in and outside Nigeria.
