What are our main goals? * To democratize student councils; * To create the institutionalized framework for the participation of high school students in their schools’ decision-making; * To empower and strengthen capacity of student parliaments; * Informal education of high school students; * To induce youth activism among students; * To provide the opportunity for high school students to implement their projects on their own; * To promote creative values and cultural life; * To affirm young artists; * To create open, inclusive and save school community; The main governing body of the UNSS is the General Assembly consisting of the representatives of all student councils which are the members of the organization. General Assembly holds its annual meeting in order to about the most important matters (annual strategic plan, changes in the Statute, electing of new Board members etc.). Board’s main purpose is to implement annual plan established on the General Assembly and to represent the organization in front of other organizations and institutions on national and international level (Ministry of Youth and Sport, Ministry of Education, National Assembly, NGO sector, OBESSU (European Union of Secondary School Students) etc.). Local Coordinators Team implements the activities in accordance with action plan and puts efforts into spreading the network of member parliaments of the UNSS. Belgrade Team works on the implementation of projects on the territory of Belgrade City. PR Team takes care of the UNSS promotion and its image in public. Secretary-General is a person who administers all documentation and represents the organization in legal terms. Supervisory Board oversees the work of the whole UNSS Team, points out all the possible mistakes, monitors the communication between and among teams and publicly reports its observations and delivers the annual report on the work of the UNSS on the General Assembly.
