Unichem Services in South Africa is a specialty chemicals/additives and lubricants company, marketing and distributing Mineral base stocks (Grp I, II, III/+), Synthetic base oils (Grp IV-V, PIBs, PAGs, Oil-Soluble-PAGs, Daelim/Dow), Renewable Performance Base Oils (Grp III/+) from Novvi (NovaSpec), Fuel & Dye Markers (United Color Manufacturing), Industrial & Grease Additive Packages (The Elco Corp), Automotive/Gear/Hydraulic/ Additive Packages (Italmatch Chemicals), VII's, PPDs, Petroleum/Calcium Sulphonates, 12HSA/HCO, Molybdenum Disulphide (JDC Moly), Lithium Hydroxide Monohydrate (SQM), Kolate (FedChem), MWF's Additives (Polartech/Evonik) and various other products. Our 3 Principal Divisions are: Petroleum Chemicals, Consumer Care (Personal care, Cosmetics and Home care, managed under the Unicare Specialty Ingredients Division) and Industrial Chemicals. Unichem is the authorised distributor of ExxonMobil Chemical’s Synthetic range of base oils and white oils, responsible for the distribution of synthetic base stocks under the brand names of SpectraSyn, Esterex, Synesstic, SpectraSyn Elite mPAO's (ExxonMobil's metallocene PAOs), Primol and Marcol in sub-Saharan Africa. Unichem Services is a technology expert in the field of industrial additives & greases, and through its exclusive distribution of The Elco Corporation's industrial and grease additive packages, we provide an unparalleled level of expertise and service to all grease manufacturers and industrial/auto lubricant blenders in sub-Saharan Africa. We have approx. 500KL stainless steel dedicated bulk liquid storage facility on two sites for all our customers' continuous base stock needs, along with comprehensive laboratory facilities in Durban and Johannesburg, manned by chemists and engineers. With warehousing and logistics service in Durban, Johannesburg, Cape Town & Port Elizabeth, Unichem comprehensively services South African & African lubricants/grease, chemicals and industrial manufacturing.
