The Undergraduate Pharmacy Society (UPS) is an organization run by the students in the Entry-to-Practice Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program at the University of Toronto Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy. UPS links all four classes together, as well as the faculty staff. Our mission is to promote social, athletic, and professional activities to the undergraduate pharmacy student for the purpose of enhancing the educational experience at this faculty. Our students are enthusiastic about influencing the direction of pharmacy. Being the first Faculty of Pharmacy in Ontario to get approval for the new PharmD curriculum, as well as being contributing members of CPhA, OPA, CSHP, MTPA, and other organizations, we are in a favourable position to both learn about and shape the future of our profession. Pharmacy students take the opportunity to participate in all aspects of student life at the University of Toronto. Without a doubt, we are the most involved, athletic, spirited, and gifted student body at the fourth largest research library in North America.
