UndaTech is a veteran-founded company developing fire-resistant (FR) and high-performance base layers for Defence, fire and emergency services, mining, construction and other high-risk sectors globally. Base layers are the weakest point in the protective ensemble. They sit directly against the skin, where commercial synthetic garments can melt to skin and undermine the rated performance of the FR outerwear worn over them. Conventional bras compound the problem, commonly incorporating underwire, metal clips, foam and excess elastic that create pressure/rub and heat transfer points under heavy PPE. UndaTech's Protective FR Range is tested to ISO 15025 (no melt, no drip) and includes the UndaShield FR bra and FR menstrual brief. Both provide breast support and menstruation management for female personnel in high-risk roles, enhancing safety, comfort and performance in high-risk environments. The Performance Range covers high-output undershirts and bras for sustained operations, training and non-FR environments. UndaTech products are validated through user trials with the Australian Defence Force, firefighters and women in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and manufactured by an Australian-owned partner. The range is designed for the whole workforce. Female-specific engineering addresses a documented gap in Defence, fire and industrial PPE, where nothing is issued and commercial garments are not engineered to fit, perform or protect female personnel.
