Uncommon Architects Information

Welcome to Uncommon Architects! We are a diverse, forward-thinking group of architects and designers based in Salt Lake County, Utah. With varied project experience and complementary skill sets, we saw strength in bringing our teams together. As a result, Uncommon Architects now serves clients throughout the Wasatch Front and beyond more effectively than either firm could alone. As a woman-owned business, we are proud to have an exceptionally diverse and highly skilled staff. With a wide range of educational, cultural, and professional backgrounds, our team brings unique perspectives and experiences to every project. We are dedicated to thoughtful design solutions that are beautiful, functional, sustainable, and socially responsible. As an employer, Uncommon Architects understands the importance of a healthy life–work balance and prioritizes our employees’ well-being. We strive to foster a supportive and inclusive work environment where people can thrive. We know that happy and healthy team members produce the best work for our clients. As such, we are committed to cultivating a firm culture that encourages creativity, independence, professional development, and personal growth. At Uncommon Architects, we believe the best results come from a collaborative approach to design. We reject the traditional top-down model where all ideas originate from one source. Instead, team members at every level are invited into the design process, and our clients’ ideas are just as valuable as our own. We work closely with clients to understand their unique needs, goals, and requirements, creating designs that are truly tailored to each project. This collaborative approach leads to thoughtful outcomes and long-lasting relationships built on trust.
