Unboxd aims to re-associate beauty and intelligence through the voices of inspiring women. We never understood why women were always boxed into stereotypes like 'popular, pretty girl' or the 'smart, ugly nerd'. Where was the black belt fashionista who works on self-driving cars? Or the Nobel Prize winning Physicist that could out contour Kim K? Moreover, why did being good at one thing mean that you had to be bad at the other? We want to show girls that they didn't have to conform to the narratives that media has created and that they could be successful in STEM careers without having to compromise on their personalities.
