Our focus is construction of low cost housing, Industrial, commercial and infrastructure. The company was established to deal with the housing demand and our project expand through the whole of KZN. Umpheme was formed in 2001, but our roots are deeply entrenched, as Umpheme is in fact the result of the transformation of Comhousing Association, a Section 21 Company with a track record of 20 years and delivery of 40 000 completed houses to the people most in need. Umpheme has enjoyed strong growth from this sound base and has developed a reputation in our own right as a competent and responsible developer that strives to balance the needs of a successful business with the best interest of the community we serve. Umpheme is currently and will continue into the future to work with reputable partners to enhance the delivery of it's products to their clients. The company complies with the requirements of the Skills Development Act, supports local and emerging suppliers that are competitive, assist with the training and development of emerging contractors and generally contributes to enlistment of beneficiary communities.
