µMoon is a student project from the FH Aachen UAS within the scope of the REXUS/BEXUS program. Firstly discovered by NASA´s Cassini Huyegens mission, plumes discovered on Saturn´s Moon Enceladus turned out to be an outstanding object for further research in our solar system. The origin and mechanism of these plumes are still waiting to be fully understood. µMoon ties in with the approach to develop an experiment that might give further insight of this phenomenon. The sounding rocket that will be host for our module enables the environmental conditions that come closest to the ones on Enceladus.
