PlantDesign, a Belgian innovative company, has been created in 2007 and has already installed over 300 green walls in Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. PlantDesign is currently leading the green walls Benelux market. The technology PlantDesign uses is not only aesthetic: it’s flexible and easy to set up, but it also improves the acoustic and thermal performance of walls on which they are equipped, and inspire a profound sense of well-being and nature, whether set indoors or outdoors. The design and quality of materials that we use allow plants to grow vertically above the ground on a wall or façade in optimal conditions. With an esthetical and ecological effect, PlantDesign creates green mood for the offices and the architectural projects. With its green wall inside, Plant Design imagines and organizes green events for many companies. Bloemenhuis was founded in 1973 by Marcel Puynen and Noëlla Van Landeghem. They started as market vendors and later started selling flowers and plants at home. When they later passed the business on to their daughter Anja Puynen and husband Raf Van Hove, the shop expanded further. The department for outdoor plants became larger and they started to grow conifers and Christmas trees themselves. They still do this to this day. In 2013, when their son Jordy joined the business, the shop got a whole new facelift. Today, grandfather Marcel, parents Raf and Anja and their son Jordy all work in the business. They keep the family business open with a lot of passion and knowledge of all the plants and flowers. Today, the flower shop has 15 employees and is about 12,000m² in size and even has a webshop with home delivery service. Bloemenhuis are also specialists in dried flowers.
