Ukids Information

We are a non-profit corporation. We are sponsored by generous donations of individuals, corporations and churches. The administration costs are kept very low, allowing more than 90 percent of all donations to go directly to our projects and services in Uganda. There are no paid positions at Ukids. Thousands of hours have already been donated by hundreds of volunteers to help with projects and teams. Opportunities to serve with Ukids includes; joining our short-term project teams, working stateside to collect, sort, and pack supplies, participating in fundraising activities, and volunteering for office/administrative help. We welcome volunteers of various faith backgrounds. A volunteer board of directors oversees our corporation and is made up of Dr. Bruce and Deborah Douglas, Mark and Susan Gosvener, and Eric and Doreen Sale. Our board of advisors includes Pastor Jackson Senyonga of Christian Life Church in Uganda, Pastor George Powell, Rick Chowdry, and Adam Neil. Our advisors and directors hold our organization accountable, ensuring that what we say is what we do.
