The UK Centre for Animal Law (A-law) is a charity that aims to bring together lawyers whose collective expertise and knowledge of animal welfare law can be harnessed for the benefit of the animal protection community. A-law sees its role as pioneering a better legal framework for animal welfare and ensuring the effective enforcement of existing legislation. A-law membership is open to barristers (practising or pupil), solicitors (practising or trainee), legal executives, judges, legal academics, law students, and members of the public.
