UFunded Information

UFunded is the only crowdfunding website dedicated to accelerating entrepreneurship within university communities. Universities across the country have rapidly growing entrepreneurial communities. These entrepreneurs are often constrained by lack of capital, access to mentors and business advice. UFunded helps these entrepreneurs by providing a platform to present their entrepreneurial endeavor to alumni. Entrepreneurs showcase their product, service or creative vision using a customizable template. Entrepreneurs offer special rewards and perks to their Funders in exchange for money. These rewards can be discounts on products, pre-sale orders, recognition or anything a creative entrepreneur can offer. Alumni have the opportunity to provide capital, but also online mentoring, feedback and advice that entrepreneurs need to be successful. UFunded is co-founded by Cuyler Hunter and Luke Friedman. As we completed our MBA graduate studies at The Ohio State University, we wondered how we could give back to our community and university that mean so much to us.
