UF EDGE Information

UF EDGE offers engineering graduate degrees from the University of Florida completely online, without ever needing to travel to campus. We capture the exact same graduate courses campus students attend and make lecture videos available online the same day they are taught via streaming video, downloadable video files, or mobile device formats. Lectures are available online all semester making it easy for students to go back and review material before exams. Distance students submit homework via email and have exams proctored at their place of work to be emailed in for grading. A masters degree is comprised of 10 classes. Graduate Certificates are 3-5 classes. Students can take as many courses per semester as their work and life schedules permit. We work with companies that support continuing education. We offer master's degrees in Aerospce, Civil, Computer Science, Electrical, Environmental, Materials Science, Mechanical, and Systems Engineering. Graduate Certificates are available in Engineering Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Engineering, Materials Characterization, SOlar Energy, Wind Turbines, Gas Turbines, Energy Management, Environmental Policy & Management, Advanced Manufacturing, Controls, and Systems Engineering, Distance learning stuents worldwide can begin any semester, spring summer or fall.
