Udayan Care Information

Udayan Care, established in 1994, works to empower vulnerable children, youth, and women across India through child protection, education, skilling, advocacy, and community-based initiatives. Operating in 45 cities across 17 states, the organization has directly impacted over 76,000 lives over the past 32 years. The Udayan Ghar Program provides family-like homes, education, healthcare, counseling, and life skills support to children without parental care, benefiting over 3055 children since 1996. The Udayan Shalini Fellowship supports academically bright girls from underserved communities through financial assistance, mentoring, life skills, and employability training. More than 18,800 girls across 15 states have been empowered through the program. Udayan Care’s Skilling and Livelihood program empowers underserved youth and women with IT skills and vocational training to enhance employability and economic opportunities. Across 22 centers in 6 states, the IT program has trained 35,000+ individuals, with an 80% placement rate in job-specific courses like Graphic Designing, Python, and Mobile Repairing. Meanwhile, vocational centers in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand have equipped over 2,300 women and youth with courses in Stitching, Grooming, Block Printing, Jewelry, and Art & Craft.
