Stage Door Dance Productions is reinventing the dance education and youth extracurricular model in Raleigh, NC. With a strong belief in age appropriate instruction and choreography, the studio uses technique, performance, community, and character to encourage dancers to "Be More At Stage Door!" Under the leadership of Founder/CEO, Chasta Hamilton, the studio features two locations, in Brier Creek and at Lake Boone Trail, as well as their unique Intensive Training Program and affiliated non-profit, Girls Geared For Greatness.

We offer a yearly curriculum in various dance disciplines such as ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, pom, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, and technique as well as a progressive tot program. The director and the professional staff share the philosophy that dance is to be enjoyed by all for its intrinsic benefits. Our goal is to provide our students the opportunity to have fun, create and be challenged through the art of dance. Our instructors love what they do and believe in a close family atmosphere where they can teach and share their love for dance with their students. Our diverse staff has the ability to take a student from beginner to Commercial or Broadway caliber, but also realizes that not all children have such aspirations. Students of all abilities are welcome and will be offered challenges that will keep them interested as well as improve their skills and self-esteem. An innovative facility, with over 3000 square feet, features four dance rooms equipped with cushioned stage step flooring to protect your childs joints and muscles while providing a safe and comfortable place for all students. The floor "floats" on hundreds of high density foam cushions which absorb the impact of dancing and jumping. It reduces injury and allows the dancers to perform with minimal fatigue. In addition, viewing windows and monitors are available for your viewing pleasure.
