RA Sushi is a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant concept, based in Scottsdale, AZ. While most of our guests come to enjoy the best the ocean has to offer, others simply enjoy a night in the RA! With a happy hour that put us on the map, and a laid back guest experience, we fancy ourselves as MORE than just a restaurant. Lending itself to the experience are rich, clean and inviting design elements, that can only be described as sexy. All of that, capped off with a staff who TRULY enjoys their job, makes for something truly unique.

In fall 2012, Chef/Owner Tatsu Aikawa started Ramen Tatsu-Ya with Chef Takuya Matsumoto and younger brother Shion Aikawa. After spending some time at the Michelin-starred kaiseki/sushi bar Urasawa in Los Angeles, Tatsu decided to return to Austin in the pursuit of introducing authentic Japanese ramen to Texas. With the help of friends and family, Ramen Tatsu-Ya became a reality and soon after opening, the shop quickly became a local sensation boasting national accolades, including Bon Appétit’s “Top 50 Best Restaurants.” The Tatsu-Ya Family currently has 7 Ramen Tatsu-Ya locations in Austin and one in Houston, as well as a new bar concept, Domo Alley-Gato Tatsu-Ya, which opened in east Austin in 2018. We opened Kemuri Tatsu-Ya in early 2017, a Texas izakaya that has received national recognition from The James Beard Foundation as well as the honor of being named one of the Top 10 Best New Restaurants in the U.S. by Food & Wine, Bon Appétit, GQ, and more. In 2021, we opened Tiki Tatsu-Ya, a stylish Tiki bar that transports you to the tropics.
