UBC SubBots is an Engineering Student Team founded in 2017 dedicated to the development of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV). Subbots was founded as a collaboration between UBC Snowbots(now rover) and UBC SUBC. UBC Snowbots is a team dedicated to the research, education and development of autonomous systems, and SUBC is a team that focuses on the design and fabrication of human powered submarines. By leveraging each teams' expertise, SubBots is offering the UBC Engineering Community a new avenue to explore previously separated fields, bringing together students from a broad range of disciplines. Subbots' goal is to attend the annual Robosub competition in San Diego, California.
