University-2-Ventures is our independent successor fund of Earlybird-X, where we have built one of Europes's top deep tech portfolios. We invest in (pre-) seed deep tech founders across Europe, focusing on three core verticals: AI & Novel Compute, Industrial Tech (including Aerospace) and Climate Tech. We favor complementary teams with strong technical backgrounds, often backed by years of research, and hands-on commercial and scaling experience. Our core idea is simple. We believe deep tech breakthroughs in structurally crucial sectors stem from academic research. We tap into the teams building these innovations through our ties in key European research hubs, fund them, and help them scale faster by connecting them with a network of 500+ corporates and SMEs (some LPs in our fund).
