U-Build Information

U-Build is a modular building system developed by architects Studio Bark to be easy to construct, enjoyable to inhabit and quick to deconstruct at the end of its useful life. The system is made of flat-pack wooden panels that are stacked and bolted to form the building, and can be taken apart, reused and adapted for different purposes. Materials are natural, non-toxic and sustainably sourced for healthy spaces that reduce carbon impact. As featured on Grand Designs ‘The Street’, U-Build makes construction accessible and customisable and provides a a single solution that is versatile, reusable, and democratic. Our adaptable system of building blocks allows you to define and create your own bespoke space, from furniture to office fit-outs, garden studios to entire self-build homes, with guidance throughout from our friendly team of experts.
