Tynedale Hospice At Home Information

Tynedale Hospice at Home provides end-of-life nursing care to people in their own homes, patient transport, complementary therapy and pre and post bereavement support. Our catchment is people registered at one of 16 GP practices in West Northumberland, Tynedale and Ponteland. All services are provided free of charge as a result of charitable giving. We have a team of Registered Nurses and Hospice Support Workers who deliver nursing care and are supported by over 250 volunteers who work across our retail, patient transport and bereavement services. It costs over £1.7m a year to run our services and 95% must be raised through fundraising and voluntary giving. Tynedale Hospice at Home also has shops in Hexham, Ponteland and Prudhoe.
