Based in Fort Worth, Texas, Firestone & Robertson Distilling Co. ("F&R") is a leading artisan whiskey distillery. The company was founded in 2010 by Leonard Firestone and Troy Robertson who had a vision to create classic whiskey expressions with a distinct Texas provenance. F&R owns and operates two fully functioning distilleries, 901 W. Vickery and Whiskey Ranch (the largest Whiskey Distillery west of the Mississippi), in Fort Worth, Texas. F&R launched its first product, TX Blended Whiskey, in June 2012 and in 2013 the whiskey was awarded “Double Gold and Best American Craft Whiskey” honors at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. In addition to TX Blended Whiskey, F&R released its TX Straight Bourbon in December 2016. TX Bourbon is a rich and flavorful straight bourbon made from locally sourced grains and a proprietary yeast strain captured from a Texas pecan nut.
