Two Generations Information

Two Generations is a UK social enterprise, founded in 2019. We help people stay well at home and support those balancing work with caring for an older relative. Our UK-wide Homeshare scheme matches an older person with a carefully vetted Homesharer who provides live in companionship and light practical support. This is not personal care. It is about reassurance, routine and having someone around, especially in the evenings and overnight. It can reduce loneliness for the older person and ease pressure on families, helping working carers feel more able to stay focused and in work. We work with employers to offer Homeshare as a low admin, high impact employee benefit. We also partner with GP practices, PCNs, Social Prescribing Link Workers, charities and local authorities, so Homeshare can be used as a practical community option alongside other support.
