- TCFSA manages a Basic Skills Series hosted at competitions of its member clubs. - TCFSA hosts an annual Recognition Dinner honoring local officials, skaters, and volunteers. - TCFSA periodically provides training camps with world-class coaches in the various skating disciplines. - TCFSA periodically hosts training schools for local officials or provides financial assistance for officials to participate in other schools or seminars. - TCFSA periodically hosts club management seminars and test session seminars to provide training to volunteers of its member clubs. - TCFSA annually hosts a panel discussion for its member clubs to review the issues to be presented at USFS Governing Council. - TCFSA provides financial assistance to skaters, under age 18, of member clubs advancing to Sectional, National and International competitions in all skating disciplines. - TCFSA donates funds or promotes fundraisers of the Minnesota Skating Scholarship Foundation, an organization providing financial assistance to Minnesota skaters. - TCFSA provides an annual stipend to its member clubs who meet certain requirements. - TCFSA annually recognizes a volunteer(s) from Minnesota who has made significant contributions to furthering the sport of figure skating by presenting the volunteer(s) with The Champion For Skating Award. - TCFSA hosts eight meetings during the year to provide a setting for member clubs to exchange ideas and concerns. - TCFSA issues a newsletter twice a year and maintains a website with links to all member clubs to be used to share information. - TCFSA provides a cohesive organization to bid on projects beyond the scope of a single club.
