Tuscaloosa Music Service was established in 1964 by Cliff Hurter and his wife, Mary. What started primarily as a band instrument store evolved with the times into what has become a very popular place for school and combo customers throughout Alabama and Mississippi. We are West Central Alabama's largest band instrument dealer. We carry top line brands including Bach, Blessing, Conn, Jupiter, King, Selmer and Yamaha. Our service department is second to none. In the combo area, we carry a full line of guitars, basses, amps and drums/percussion. We were the fifth dealer opened by Peavey Electronics in the '60's. They are the worlds #1 manufacturer of P.A. equipment. They also build some of the most sought after guitars and basses. In acoustic guitars, we carry Ibanez, Sigma and Larivee`. In our ever expanding percussion department we carry ddrum, LP, Pearl, Tama, Mapex, Sabian, and Zildjian. Although everything mentioned above is impressive by any standards, it means nothing without the personnel to back it up.
