Turbine Information

Turbine is an incubator and start-up accelerator that helps aspiring entrepreneurs turn ideas into start-ups and early-stage businesses into thriving, successful companies. Our vision is for Mauritius to become a vibrant and internationally recognised innovation and start-up hub. Turbine runs four different programmes and a business idea competition geared towards pre-start-up and start-up business ventures. The programmes offer mentoring and guidance, operational support, physical space, and access to finance and networks that entrepreneurs need to develop their businesses. Turbine's programmes are open to Mauritian and foreign nationals, with no restrictions on age or gender. Projects can be from any sector as long as they are innovative and bring something new to the table (a new product, a new service, or a new way of doing something). Turbine is an independent organisation that receives financial and operational support from ENL and other corporate partners. All profits are reinvested in the organisation.
