Tupos is a nonprofit organization that mentors young budding leaders (ages 18-30) and requires them to provide peer mentorship to each other. The program’s primary goal is to offer comprehensive training and cultivate strong balanced peer leadership by providing holistic mentorship. One program service offering is the Tupos monthly workshops conducted each semester. The workshops are sessions where all the members of the program meet for career development and social networking opportunities to aid them in achieving their goals. The program’s workshop topics are constructed from data compiled from member questionnaires and surveys used to design specialized curricula. The program offers a second layer of service, mentor partners. Mentor partners are required to communicate with their assigned partner individually, on a regular basis for a more one-on-one interpersonal meeting experience. The byproduct of our program’s strategy has produced job promotions, academic advancement, flourishing businesses, fortified families and personal relationships. We, Tupos participants, regularly achieve the mission of being prepared role models that impact change in our communities. The Benefits of The Tupos Program: 🗝Provide healthy activities, career development and prevention programming for youth. 🗝Create community service opportunities for youth to learn, thrive and create lasting connections. 🗝Provide youth with leadership roles, managerial and job skills training. 🗝Give young entrepreneurs opportunities to develop their businesses and networks.
